The Grace stool features a rectilinear, minimalist base in brushed stainless steel that is juxtaposed with a beautifully sculpted concave seat in solid wood. The form functions visually as a “pedestal” from which the organic nature of the seat becomes objectified. The generous expanse of the Grace stool’s seat along with its gently curved surface provides an unexpected level of comfort for the sitter.
The Grace stool is available in three different heights – a low stool that is perfect as an impromptu seat, as well as taller versions at a traditional bar and counter heights. The base is constructed from 5/8” thick squared tubular stainless steel in a brushed finish and features four horizontal cross beam supports that can also function as footrests on both the counter and bar height versions. Because the Grace stool’s clever form is essentially the same when viewing the piece from either its front or back, the sitter can also access the stool from either side. The seat is available in a choice of northern European oiled oak or walnut.
