or Call to Order

Thinking Man’s Chair is composed of enameled welded tubular and flat steel. The fluid lines of the chair’s frame begin with an upward, cantilever sweep from the front legs that defines the structure of both seat and back. The deep seat features seven gently curved flat steel bands that parallel the tubular steel frame. As one can literally see through the Thinking Man’s chair’s open construction, the space around the lounge becomes an integral part of the aesthetic. The Thinking Man’s Chair is included in the permanent collections of several museums worldwide including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
