or Call to Order

In Between Armchair, by Sami Kallio for &Tradition, plays with the relationship between positive and negative space. The chair is light and thin, yet strong (due to the classical techniques of compression molding and woodturning). Its design is minimal. The back and side panels provide a concrete shape and support, while forms are created equally by the distance that separates them.

The armchair is available without upholstery in the form of SK1. The fabric or leather upholstered seat of In Between Armchair SK2 is the perfect addition to the wooden chair: it embraces modern lifestyles and long, cozy dinners around the dining table, without compromising the chair’s light and elegant expression. For more from the series, see the In Between stool.
