or Call to Order

The Kast Twee bookshelf is part of a range of sculptural bookcases designed by Hans de Pelsmacker in 2002. Its clever form functions like a pillar within a space where the books become visible only if the user is actually viewing the bookshelf from one of the sides – from the front, Kast Twee appears simply as an enigmatic freestanding rectilinear form.

Kast Twee is composed of 1/16” thick sheet aluminum; the form’s perimeter walls are 1” thick. Kast’s rectilinear pillar form features 5 concealed shelves oriented on the left or right side of the piece that will easily accommodate up to 20 standing ring binders. The pillar’s underside features discreet adjustable glides that can easily be leveled.

The Kast Twee bookshelf is available in a white powder-coated finish. Its concealed shelves can be specified as accessed from either the left or right side when facing the piece.
