or Call to Order

The Palette JH25 coffee table merges shapes, sizes, colors, and materials to act as a metaphor for bringing different people together to connect. Adding to the cohesive effect of the design is the choice of elegant materials, such as the option of walnut or black ash together with black marble and brass. A compelling mix of the warmth of wood, the natural pattern and regal appeal of marble and the satin polished brass.

With the Palette series, designer Jaime Hayon has succeeded in creating a harmonious concept of connectivity – both in terms of the design and the opportunity for people to connect with each other. The JH25 table expands this opportunity to an array of interiors where intimacy is everything. Equally stunning is the Palette Table JH7, a more narrow coffee table suited for smaller spaces.

Jaime Hayon

Spain

Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon is known for creating intricate, finely crafted objects imbued with fantastical forms and energetic details. Extremely versatile, he is known for creating refined furniture for the residential and commercial markets, such as the Catch lounge for &Tradition and the Ro chair for Fritz Hansen. His whimsicality emerges fully in playful designs that often take on an anthropomorphic quality. Hayon crafts a range of unique creatures that grace vases, carpets, dishes, figurines, and more.

Hayon’s artistic vision first garnered attention in the “Mediterranean Digital Baroque” exhibition at London’s David Gill Gallery in 2003 and with his Mon Cirque collection of hand-molded circus characters. These collections put Hayon at the forefront of a new wave in the contemporary design scene that blurred the lines between art, decoration, and design.

After founding Hayon Studio in 2001, his award-winning commissions have spanned mediums, including furniture for b.d. barcelona, Cassina, Fritz Hansen, &Tradition, and Magis; lighting for Parachilna, Metalarte, and Swarovski; and objects for Bisazza, Lladró, and Baccarat. He has also designed interiors for leading hotels, restaurants, museums, and retail establishments worldwide.
