The Tricolore vase, SH2 brings designer Sebastian Herkner’s passion for color, craftsmanship and materials to life. Here we see two vases made from mouth-blown bohemian colored glass in amber and lapis, of varying heights and widths. Equally as beautiful individually, the vases are designed to be nested within each other to create a third color.
Add the vases to any environment and watch color bring your space to life, as shades of amber and lapis interact with sunlight. The careful process of cutting, sanding and polishing the glass makes the product human. Also included in our collection are the shorter Tricolore vase, SH1, and Tricolore vase, SH3.

Sebastian Herkner graduated from the University of Art and Design in Offenbach. Since opening his own studio in 2006, he continues to explore unique possibilities with color, natural materials, and textural effects. Bringing authentic artisan crafts into a contemporary context.
The Tricolore Vases for &tradition are a fantastic fusion of color, ingenuity, and artisanry. Each set is comprised of two cylindrical glass vases of different heights, each in a different color. Pair them together and you have a third color – hence the name.
