or Call to Order

The Tegel collection, crafted by the acclaimed Pritzker Prize-winning architect David Chipperfield, stands as a family of hand-tufted bouclé rugs, marrying wool and linen to create a sensory masterpiece. Wool infuses the rugs with depth, warmth, and volume, while linen introduces a discreet yet vibrant element to the overall texture. Tegel comprises three design variants — Corner, Side, and Center — each presenting three color areas in distinct spatial configurations. These variations, though separate, are interrelated, influencing the perception of the surrounding space.

The design of Tegel is a harmonious marriage of past, present, and future — a homage to the rich knowledge and culture at Kasthall. It draws inspiration from the naturally weathered variations in the historic brick buildings at Kasthall’s headquarters and factory. Reflecting Chipperfield’s architectural finesse, each design variant within the Tegel collection is available in seven different colorways, offering a diverse palette to suit varied tastes and interior aesthetics.
