Claudio Silvestrin

A master of contem­po­rary mini­mal­ism, Claudio Silvestrin is one of the best-known Italian archi­tects and design­ers. Born in Zurich, natu­ral­ized British, he studied under AG Fron­zoni in Milan and at the Archi­tec­tural Asso­ci­a­tion School of Archi­tec­ture in London. His early profes­sional career began in the British capital with John Pawson at the London studio Pawson Silvestrin Archi­tects. He then opened his prac­tice, Claudio Silvestrin Archi­tects (CSA), in 1989, followed by offices in Milan in 2006. The studio takes on various projects, from inte­rior designs for new-build houses to resorts, art galleries, museums, restau­rants, hotels, and luxury stores, to furniture design.
