Denis Santachiara

Denis Santachiara is an Italian designer based in Milan, his work encompasses designing furniture, product design, lighting design, architecture, and interior design. His work is often described as a marrying of art and design, where he is often inspired by innovative technologies and actively looks to incorporate this innovation into his designs. Santachiara was born in Campagnola, Reggio Emilia, Italy and now resides in Milan where his Studio Santachiara is based. His notable works include the Aurea Lamp he created for Fontana Arte in 2005, as well as his design for the interiors of the Charterhouse of Avignon in 1992 for the French Ministry of Culture. Santachiara’s work is exhibited at various museums around the world, including MoMA in New York City, Musee des Arts Decoratifs at the Louvre in Paris, the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, as well as the Vitra Museum in Rhine, Germany.
