Elisabeth Lux

After her studies of painting and sculpture in Canada, Elisabeth Lux studied architecture at the Berlin University of Arts. Later, she founded “Architektursalon Elvira” together with Martin Wiedermann, and lectured at the Technische Universität Berlin in the department of architecture. Since 1998, Lux has worked as a freelance artist and designer. In 2003 she founded the design studio “Oehringlux” in collaboration with Frank Oehring. Elisabeth Lux has carried out several exhibition projects and worked with numerous manufacturers like Anta, Pastoe, and e15. Her iconic designs are characterized by distinct geometric yet harmonious forms and connect the disciplines art, design, and architecture. For e15, Elisabeth Lux designed the bureau NOTA, which convinces with its clear elegance and precise functionality. Together with Frank Oehring, she developed the Z‑Table for the E15 SELECTED collection.
