Jeffrey Bernett

Born in 1964, Jeffrey Bernett founded Studio B in 1995 as a vehicle to conceive and promote projects in a wide range of disci­plines. At the 1996 Inter­na­tional Contem­po­rary Furni­ture Fair (ICFF), Bernett presented his first collec­tion of design objects enti­tled Ideas for Produc­tion for which he received the 1996 Editor’s Award for Best Deco­ra­tive Acces­sories. At the 2000 ICFF, Bernett along with five other design­ers was named Best New Designer. Bernett has had the distinc­tion on many occa­sions of being the first Amer­i­can designer to work with many of his Euro­pean clients that now include Authen­tics, B & B Italia, Boffi, Cappellini, Dune, Hidden/​SDB.
