Noé Duchaufour–Lawrance

Noé Duchaufour – Lawrance is a designer of objects and environments. He stands out for defining a unique language of natural shapes that appear supple, organic, and fluid yet structured. Born in Mende, France, in 1974, he grew up in a creative home. Following in his father’s footsteps, as a sculptor himself, he received an education in Sculpture on Metal (at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’Art) as well as furniture design (at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris). Duchaufour – Lawrance quickly displayed an unusual aesthetic. His design for the Sketch” restaurant in London effectively launched his career in 2002, earning him the Best Design” award from Time Out” magazine. Shortly after, he opened his own studio, Neonata, meaning New Birth,” as a think tank for design and interior architectural projects. He has since developed a highly regarded aesthetic quality, seizing every project as an opportunity for symbiosis between man, objects, and space. His projects range from product development for manufacturers, such as Ceccotti Collezioni, Tacchini, and Zanotta to entire living spaces for Senderens, Air France Lounges, and Ciel de Paris. The French designer continues to receive international praise as his approach elevates material forms in multiple art disciplines, awakening the senses and promoting harmony with nature.
