Sebastian Wrong

As a designer, Sebas­t­ian Wrong explores the balance between func­tion, aesthet­ics, and refine­ment. Wrong was born in 1971 in London. He studied sculp­ture at the Norwich School of Art and Camber­well School of Art, grad­u­at­ing with a BA in 1993. He then estab­lished his own success­ful manu­fac­tur­ing company in 1995. 

Sebastian′s educa­tion has been in the field of three-dimen­sional art, and his design prac­tice has aligned with his work in fine art. His inter­ests are in mate­r­ial manip­u­la­tion, purity of form, func­tion, and honesty. Years of expe­ri­ence has led him to become an award-winning designer, includ­ing the pres­ti­gious Red Dot design award for the Spun lamp in 2002. Wrong contin­ues to cham­pion inno­v­a­tive design in his role as direc­tor of Estab­lished & Sons.
