Thomas E. Alken

Danish designer Thomas E. Alken, born in Copen­hagen in 1970, has left an indeli­ble mark on the Scan­di­na­vian design land­scape. A grad­u­ate of the Danish Design School and the Univer­sity of Art and Design in Helsinki, Alken founded the design studio Format Design in 1997. Over the past two decades, he has become a promi­nent figure in the indus­try, show­cas­ing a keen focus on the inter­play between user and object.
