Tito Agnoli

Peru (1931-2012)

Tito Agnoli, born 1931, Lima, Peru, was an Italian archi­tect and light­ing and furni­ture designer. He special­ized in indus­trial design and after he grad­u­ated, worked as an assis­tant to Gio Ponti and Carlo de Carli. In the 1950s and through­out the 1960s and 1970s, he mainly designed light­ing and furni­ture. He designed for such compa­nies as Arflex, Oluce, Cinova, Lema, Molteni, Pieran­to­nio Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Schiffini, and Ycami. He was nomi­nated for the Compasso d’Oro award a few times and in 1986 won a gold medal at the NeoCon exhi­bi­tion in Chicago.
