Created as an architectural partnership in Stockholm, Claesson Koivisto Rune, is a design house started by Marten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, and Ola Rune. With their office opening its doors in 1995, the emphasis was on both architecture and product design. The architectural aspects of Claesson Koivisto Rune include hotels, homes, shops, offices, and exhibitions. Their product design work has spanned many designs, including sanitary ware, tableware, glassware, furniture, textiles, tiles, lighting, and electronics. Their attention to detail and design aesthetic has led to product collaborations with over 80 international companies. Claesson Koivisto Rune is one of Sweden’s leading design studios with its three designers having won the Annual Swedish Design Award eight times collectively along with many other international awards.
