or Call to Order

Atlas, designed by Margrethe Odgaard, is a woolen upholstery textile created for the Kvadrat collection. It particularly stands out for its new mélange expression and meticulously nuanced color blends. Margrethe Odgaard has achieved this with a construction that unites two different colored yarns – each of which combines two colors – in the warp and the weft. With Atlas, unlike other mélanges, the colors are not blended in the fibers. Instead, they are expressed, pattern-like, through the structure of the material. As a result, the textile offers exceptional color intensity and intricate color details.
