Newood Chair and Stool
Newood Chair is a contemporary reinterpretation of the timeless charm of Windsor-style chairs from Design duo Alberto Brogilaito and Frederico Traverso. Newood chairs are an homage to pure design, as demonstrated by the fact that it is also the first wooden Chair in the Cappellini catalog that is stackable, further underscoring the harmony between technology and advancement in manufacturing excellence. Through the extraordinary study of details, an encounter occurs between past and present, particularly the distinctive backrest in solid curved wood, which provides a pleasant tactile element: wood’s genuine and reassuring beauty.
Newood chairs are available in a range that includes the Newood Stool. Newood stool comes in two different heights, with a structure made of solid ash and a footrest in brushed stainless steel. Now available in bleached ash, wengé stained, black stained, and oak stained finish, Newood chairs, and stools are particularly captivating in the Shanghai blue hue. The seat can be in beech plywood seat, ash veneered in the same color of the structure, or padded with a fixed cover in a selection of fabrics or leathers of the collection.
