Research repre­sents a crucial and strate­gic element of the corpo­rate devel­op­ment policy, funded with over 3% of B&B Italia sales annu­ally. Indeed, B&B Italia in-house research & devel­op­ment centre stirs, inter­prets and directs the creative ener­gies of design­ers, and feeds an unin­ter­rupted inno­va­tion process extend­ing to tech­nol­ogy. It holds the research labs, the studios for graph­ics and adver­tis­ing and ideal shop layout, the train­ing rooms, the product devel­op­ment labs, the histor­i­cal archives, the photo studio and, last but not least, the on-site show­room. These facil­i­ties have allowed B&B Italia to propose and promote amongst the most success­ful prod­ucts world­wide, and, above all, to make a name for itself as a manu­fac­turer with highly inno­v­a­tive high-tech capacities.
