Elisabeth Lux

After her studies of paint­ing and sculp­ture in Canada, Elis­a­beth Lux studied archi­tec­ture at the Berlin Univer­sity of Arts. Later, she founded Architek­tur­sa­lon Elvira” together with Martin Wieder­mann, and lectured at the Tech­nis­che Univer­sität Berlin in the depart­ment of archi­tec­ture. Since 1998, Lux has worked as a free­lance artist and designer. In 2003 she founded the design studio Oehringlux” in collab­o­ra­tion with Frank Oehring. Elis­a­beth Lux has carried out several exhi­bi­tion projects and worked with numer­ous manu­fac­tur­ers like Anta, Pastoe, and e15. Her iconic designs are char­ac­ter­ized by distinct geomet­ric yet harmo­nious forms and connect the disci­plines art, design, and archi­tec­ture. For e15, Elis­a­beth Lux designed the bureau NOTA, which convinces with its clear elegance and precise func­tion­al­ity. Together with Frank Oehring, she devel­oped the Z‑Table for the E15 SELECTED collection.
