Georgina Wright

In 1987, Georgina Wright grad­u­ated from the Royal College of Art. During her time there she decided to merge her love of art, design and fiber. Her studies sparked her inter­est and gift for color and texture, giving her a drive to create orig­i­nal fabrics with a unique signa­ture. Since she grad­u­ated, Georgina Wright has become one of the worlds most in demand and respected woven textile design­ers today. She often designs textiles that reflect land­scapes or archi­tec­ture, but never become sterile. Keeping a close eye on beauty and func­tion is what she believes are neces­sary compo­nents in a good textile design. 

Georgina Wright’s flair for color is a unify­ing compo­nent in her broad range of designs and comes to the fore­front in her collab­o­ra­tions with Kvadrat.
