Georgina Wright
UNITED KINGDOM
In 1987, Georgina Wright graduated from the Royal College of Art. During her time there she decided to merge her love of art, design and fiber. Her studies sparked her interest and gift for color and texture, giving her a drive to create original fabrics with a unique signature. Since she graduated, Georgina Wright has become one of the worlds most in demand and respected woven textile designers today. She often designs textiles that reflect landscapes or architecture, but never become sterile. Keeping a close eye on beauty and function is what she believes are necessary components in a good textile design.
Georgina Wright’s flair for color is a unifying component in her broad range of designs and comes to the forefront in her collaborations with Kvadrat.
