or Call to Order

The Tube chair is an iconic seating design by Joe Colombo that characterizes the intersection of several prevalent design movements associated with the 1960s – Radical, Pop, and Anti-Design. Originally produced by Flexform, the Tube chair has been out of production for years and is included in the permanent collections of numerous museums worldwide. The chair’s form is remarkably simple. It features four modular cylinders that vary in diameter; each will nest inside each other for easy transport and storage. By employing a group of six uniquely designed clips, the user can essentially lock” the Tube chair’s cylinders together in several ways to ultimately create different seating forms.
