In reviv­ing the classic Checker­board Icon pattern from the Arkad pattern family, Kasthall Design Studio invested consid­er­able time in metic­u­lous research to perfect the color combi­na­tions. Inspired by the Scan­di­na­vian color palette, the four vari­a­tions balance subtlety and contrast. Shades like gray-green and light blue coalesce with bolder choices such as yellow and midnight black, forming a capti­vat­ing check­ered pattern against an off-white base.
