Expe­ri­enc­ing the Flour­ish rug is like glanc­ing down on Earth from a landing aircraft. Created by Ellinor Elias­son, the left­over yarn in various colors fulfills Kasthall’s sustain­able ambi­tion by mini­miz­ing waste. That being said, each color­ful mosaic of the land­scape in Flour­ish is unique — no rug is like the other.

Ellinor Eliasson graduated from The Swedish School of Textile University of Borås. By 2015, Eliasson came to Kasthall for an internship and has since then been a part of many successful projects. For instance, she developed the Harvest rug concept, a collection of woven rugs made of residual yarn.
