Acril­ica Table Lamp

In collab­o­ra­tion with his brother Gianni, Joe Colombo created the Acril­ica table lamp in 1962 for Oluce. Methacry­late, often cut or ther­mo­formed, gives the lamp a thick­ness and curve. The light emit­ting from the painted steel base moves through the trans­par­ent body and lights the head, thanks to its conduction properties.
