Recheck from Kvadrat is a delicate woolen upholstery textile inspired by traditional check patterns originating in women’s couture from the 1950s. The 17 colorways of Recheck are divided into four related designs, each offering a subtle yet vibrant play of stripes and color nuances. Constructed from the same mélange yarn as Remix and Canvas, each colorway combines up to six nuances and delivers an exceptional depth of color.

Italian ‘color master’ Giulio Ridolfo is a highly sought-after color advisor to many of the world’s leading interior, clothing and footwear companies. In 1985 he graduated with a Masters Degree in Fashion Design from Milan’s Domus Academy and since has pivoted, working
with renowned furniture companies developing advanced color systems for textile applications. Ridolfo draws his inspiration from diverse sources such as photography, art, and fashion. He gathers images, colors, patterns, and textures, then combines these different elements and expressions until he creates something new.
