Mega Bulb Pendant

The Mega Bulb SR2 Pendant, designed by Sofie Refer for &Tradition, is superior in size but is the younger sister of Bulb. Mega Bulb is the answer to all requests for poetic lightning in larger rooms and spaces. The minor irregularities in the mouth-blown glass make each pendant one of a kind and add the story of the glass master’s efforts. This Bulb comes in various versions: Clear, Silver or Gold. Each version can also have either a fabric-coated PVC cord or non-fabric.

Sofie Refer
Denmark
Sofie Refer was born in Denmark, 1974. Between 1998 - 2003 she studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation - Institute of Product Design, Glass and Ceramics.
Sofie Refer believes that lighting is the most crucial and powerful aspect of any environment. Soon after graduating from Denmark's Design School in 2003, she opened her Copenhagen-based lighting design and production company Refer + Staer, where she is Partner and Creative Director. Her simple, streamlined designs have garnered her numerous awards, appearing in the private and commercial sector, such as restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and city councils worldwide.
Driven by a passion to find new ways to play with light, Refer uses the latest technology to create designs which signal Scandinavian simplicity with a touch of extravagance.
