Introducing the Phoenix Lamp, an exceptional creation by Dutch design duo Visser & Meijwaard for Linteloo. This striking lamp draws its inspiration from the art of Caledonia, a captivating technique involving the addition of oxides to glass to create a mesmerizing marbled effect. The roots of this intricate method can be traced back to the legendary Angelo Barovier, considered Murano’s greatest glassmaker.
Over time, this enchanting technique nearly faded into obscurity until it was rekindled by artists in the mid-1800s. With the Phoenix series, Visser & Meijwaard pay tribute to this artistry, infusing it with a contemporary twist. Their design encapsulates elegant and refined lines reminiscent of the Art Deco period, resulting in a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic.
Each individual element of the Phoenix Lamp is meticulously mouth-blown and thoughtfully arranged, much like beads on a necklace. The outcome is a true jewel that graces any interior with its artful presence.
Experience the Phoenix Table Lamp, where tradition meets modernity, and craftsmanship transforms into an elegant statement piece, illuminating your space with beauty and style.
