Shahnaz Sideboard System
Shahnaz is a wall-mounted sideboard with a streamlined design that appears to float elegantly off the wall, despite its solid wood composition. Its visual buoyancy is achieved through intricate construction and elimination of any visible frames. Shahnaz is combinable with the Mahnaz chest of drawers, which features a chamfered edge along the drawer to seamlessly serve as a handle. Each chest is made of 3/4″ inch thick European oak or walnut with the choice of finish. Add the Araq bar cabinet, and open shelf Dara for an even more personalized system. Araq folds open with two hatches — one hatch dually serves as a work surface when the cabinet is left open. Dara is an open-shelf element that adds a dynamic visual character, contrasting the solid wood chest, produced in powder-coated aluminum in colors: signal white, umbra grey, and jet black.
