An interplay of subtly round and angular forms between the backrest and seat gives the Gambetta sofa series its distinctive character and versatility. Designed by Jasper Morrison, the Gambetta Sofa is part of a comprehensive collection of free-standing seats that include an armchair, a two-seat sofa, a bench with a backrest (two or three seats), and a two-seat bench without a backrest. Each structure consists of poplar plywood and solid fir wood, with polyurethane foam padding. The die-cast aluminum legs ensure ideal stability and come with a black matte-finish varnish. Upholstery is available in the fabrics and leathers from the collection.
The Gambetta Sofa by Jasper Morrison has obtained Greenguard Gold Certification: a standard that guarantees maximum emission control for products designed with the greatest attention to health and wellness.
