Jasper Morrison’s Super­ob­long Bed is a design that fuses simplic­ity and comfort with time­less appeal unique to Morrison’s creations. Super­ob­long bed consists of multi-density polyurethane foam, fiber, and feather padding; it also has a soft back­rest that resem­bles over­sized pillows. The cover is remov­able and is avail­able in leather and fabrics from the collection.

Jasper Morrison is a British designer, born in London in 1959. He is best known for his industrial design work that uses thoughtful design to create mass-produced pieces using advanced technology. Morrison’s design work encompasses furniture design, product design, art direction, and authoring design books. Morrison studied at the Kingston Polytecnic Design School and The Royal College of Art in London, earning both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Design.

Throughout the 2000’s he designed kitchen appliances for Rowenta, and opened the Jasper Morrison Shop in 2008 in the building adjacent to his design studio. Morrison has collaborated with many companies throughout his career, including Aram, Cappellini, Vitra, Alessi, Flos, Magis, Rosenthal, Camper, Kettle, and Maharam. In 2014 Morrison created furniture for Tate Modern. Throughout his career he has written books about design, including A Book Of Things, Everything But The Walls, and A World Without Words.
