Alex Nesting Tables

c. 1993

by Philippe Allaeys
for e15

The Alex nesting tables designed by Philippe Allaeys for e15 have a stunning simplicity. Each of the three escalating sizes of the Alex nesting tables features a simple thick circular top with three legs. The legs are characterized by their atypical square-shaped form. The nesting tables create a sculptural single table with their repetitive shapes and escalating scale – when separated, they become three practical surfaces. The Alex nesting tables are available in e15’s classic composition of solid northern European oiled oak or walnut; similarly, these are available in the graphic option of black or white stained lacquered solid oak.
