It features a solid oak frame with securely woven cotton paper-cord or natural webbing. The Cuba chair provides excellent support as the design gently follows the body’s contours. This folding lounge chair is ideal as an extra or permanent fixture. Its light and foldable frame can easily be hung on a wall or placed on a floor stand for convenient storage. Morten Gottler is a self-taught designer and architect recognized for his exceptional understanding of wood. The Danish designer was born in Copenhagen and began his career in the shipping industry. In 1972, he opened his design studio and developed a wide range of products, including domestic art, packaging, toys, graphics, and lighting on an international scale. It wasn't until 1984 that his focus shifted primarily to furniture design. His approach is rooted in Scandinavian design tradition. The pieces are well-thought-out in form, characteristically uncomplicated, with a clean aesthetic. One can always expect exquisite comfort in high-quality materials upholding the belief that innovation is the foundation for success.
