Morten Gottler is a self-taught designer and architect recognized for his exceptional understanding of wood. The Danish designer was born in Copenhagen and began his career in the shipping industry. In 1972, he opened his design studio and developed a wide range of products, including domestic art, packaging, toys, graphics, and lighting on an international scale. It wasn't until 1984 that his focus shifted primarily to furniture design. His approach is rooted in Scandinavian design tradition. The pieces are well-thought-out in form, characteristically uncomplicated, with a clean aesthetic.
