Metropolitan High-Back Lounge
for B&B Italia
The Metropolitan High-Back lounge, designed by Jeffrey Bernett for B&B Italia, epitomizes elegance and sophistication. Its striking design, characterized by gentle curves and engaging cants, makes it an impressive statement piece from any angle. This lounge chair is part of the Metropolitan range, which offers a variety of back heights, including low, mid, and high backs, as well as a wingback lounge chair with a neck rest and an optional ottoman.
The High-Back version of the Metropolitan lounge features an internal composition of premium-quality steel, expertly crafted to provide maximum durability and support. The Bayfit cold-shaped polyurethane foam with polyester padding ensures supreme comfort, making it the perfect spot for relaxation after a long day. The innovative roll-shaped neck cushion on the tall back version is adjustable by using magnets, ensuring you can find the perfect position for your comfort.
The Metropolitan Lounge’s base is composed of bright, brushed die-cast and extruded aluminum, adding to its luxurious appeal. The spokes culminate in plastic glides, ensuring the chair remains firmly in place while protecting your floors. Whether you choose the swivel columnar support or the simple flat disc base, the Metropolitan High-Back lounge will make a bold and elegant statement in any space.
