The Glo-Ball floor lamp was created in 1998 as a part of the Glo-Ball collec­tion by English designer Jasper Morri­son. Inspired for the radiant seren­ity of the full moon, this contem­po­rary and mini­mal­ist floor lamp is perfect for any space. It features a hand-blown, etched white opaline glass diffuser that is supported by a steel matte silver or black stem and base. This unique Glo-Ball floor lamp is avail­able in three models with a matte silver or black finish.

Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison is a British designer, born in London in 1959. He is best known for his industrial design work that uses thoughtful design to create mass-produced pieces using advanced technology. Morrison’s design work encompasses furniture design, product design, art direction, and authoring design books. Morrison studied at the Kingston Polytecnic Design School and The Royal College of Art in London, earning both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Design.

Throughout the 2000’s he designed kitchen appliances for Rowenta, and opened the Jasper Morrison Shop in 2008 in the building adjacent to his design studio. Morrison has collaborated with many companies throughout his career, including Aram, Cappellini, Vitra, Alessi, Flos, Magis, Rosenthal, Camper, Kettle, and Maharam. In 2014 Morrison created furniture for Tate Modern. Throughout his career he has written books about design, including A Book Of Things, Everything But The Walls, and A World Without Words.
